Who we are...
Lola Toben is a singer, pianist, and composer born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. Despite her petite frame and humble demeanor, Lola is always shocking audiences with her big soulful voice. She has taken her original music across the country, performing at notable venues such as The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and Blueberry Hill in St. Louis. She was a Top Ten Finalist in the 2015 Wildflower! Songwriting Competition in Richardson, Texas. She was chosen as “Artist of the Week” in Coming Up Magazine in May 2017.
When off the stage, Lola works as a studio musician: session singing, arranging, coaching and playing keyboard. In her hometown of Saint Louis, she was a respected singer and songwriter at Nelly’s Extreme Institute and Shock City Studios. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2017, she has worked with notable producer Jez Colin (Barry Manilow, *NSync, Stevie Wonder), singing on the trailer for major motion picture, Kong: Skull Island. Lola has also recorded her own EP with Grammy-nominated producers, Alex Elena and Topher Mohr. Her first single, “Way to Your Heart,” was featured on KX 93.5 Laguna Beach Radio and LA On Lock Music Blog. She will be releasing the rest of the singles over the next few months.
